@ Rhode Island Hindu Temple
As you may know, Rhode Island temple is open and maintaining its routine activities. Last year, generous donations from our community via “Covid Crisis Maintenance fund raise” helped the temple to raise money for day to day activities. Raffle fundraiser during September/October 2020 helped us to raise partial money for Phase II development that we all have been waiting eagerly. These funds were reserved for phase II development. During this pandemic, there is a very limited devotees presence at the temple and pooja services.
Starting March 2021, we are launching “Sponsor A Day at RIHTS” fundraising to pay for the temple day to day maintenance activities and daily pooja items. Our sincere appeal is to support one or more days of temple operations by donating $201 for a day. It could be a day(s) of your family choice (Birthday, marriage anniversary, in memory of your loved ones or any date with specific meaning to you or a day in calendar with religious significance). As a token of appreciation, temple will perform a special pooja service in your name on the day of your choice and offers Nitya Archana everyday for a month. Please provide your details (name, contact, gotram and nakshatra) with your donation to include in Sankalpam during Special Pooja and Nitya Archana. Your generous donation to the temple goes long way.
